Myofascial Release
A slow soft-tissue stretching technique, targeting the body’s fascial system by releasing restrictions that form within our bodies, thus allowing the tissue to restore back to normal tone and therefore assisting in relieving pain and disfunction's. Fascia is made up of connective tissue and is found throughout the body, surrounding and infusing every organ, muscle, bone, nerve and blood vessel. Fascia serves to support and protect the anatomical structures it surrounds. aiding the body with support, structure, function, and health.
Treatment are done on bare skin with gentle stretching and holding of the soft tissue until a release or relaxation in the tissue is felt. You may be a little stiff or sore for a day or two following treatment, this is a normal response.
